Tuition is friendly, informal and supportive. Class sizes are small with 4 – 6 students per session.

Workshops are limited to six places and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Participants must be over 16 years of age.

Cancellation and refund policy
Full payment is required to secure a booking on our workshops. If you can no longer attend and need to cancel your booking we will be able to refund you if give us at least 7 days notice. We regret that we cannot refund any third-party booking fees.
Light refreshments are provided as part of your workshop fee. Please let us know if you have any food allergies.
Please bring your own lunch. Alternatively, there are places to buy lunch nearby such as The Canteen at the Hotwalls, or local pubs and cafés.
Parking is a mixture of up to one hour free opposite the studio, and paid meters.
The nearest train station is Portsmouth Harbour, which is approximately a 20-minute walk away from the Hotwalls Studios.
Public toilets are located within the Hotwalls site, including an accessible toilet. These are approximately 100 metres away. There are no toilets located within the studio.
Studios and toilets are all wheelchair accessible.
All workshops take place in Ginkgo studio located at the Hotwalls Studios, which are open to the public. We may have a few curious passers-by popping their heads in to buy work or see what we are doing!
If you would like us to run a particular workshop that’s not on our current schedule, please contact us and let us know! We are always open to suggestions, and can accommodate a block booking of 4 – 6 people for custom workshops.
